ザ・バーﾄﾞ&ザ・ビー(the bird and the bee)はヴォーカリストのイナラ・ジョージとサウンド・プロデューサーのグレッグ・カースティンからなるL.Aの2人組ユニット。エレクトリックでクリーンなポップサウンドが魅力です。

２作目のトリビュート作品である本作は、ヴァン・ヘイレンに捧げたもの。代表曲「Jump」(M5)では原曲のあの印象的なイントロがあっと驚くアレンジで見事に再構築されています。また、爽快なロックチューンだった「You Really Got Me」(M9)も軽やかなる変貌を遂げており聴きドコロです。そして、オリジナル曲の「Diamond Dave」(M10)がアコースティックピアノバージョンで収録されています。
